The Elms is a Sexual Assault Referral Centre and is based at Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon.  The Elms offers support to anyone who has been raped or sexually assaulted - either recently or historically.

Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs)
An ISVA offers confidential advice and support to both males and females who have been the victims of sexual violence. They will help you come to terms with what has happened and explain the options available to you. They can refer you to counselling, help to coordinate different agencies (such as sexual health, mental health, substance misuse and housing) and they will regularly liaise with the police for case updates (if you choose to report the sexual assault). The ISVA will only provide the support that you choose and it is your choice whether or not you report a crime to the police.

The ISVA service covers Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. There is also a dedicated Young Person's ISVA that works with children aged 0-19 covering the whole county.

You can find out more information and make a referral at http://www.caprcp.org.uk/
