Have you experienced Domestic Abuse and or Sexual Violence (DASV) in Peterborough or Cambridgeshire?
🌟 We want to hear from you
If you have lived experience of domestic abuse or sexual violence - whether you reported it or not - we would really value your insight.
Your experiences can help improve how services across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire are designed, delivered, and accessed. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, and in a way that feels safe for you.
💙 What is Co‑production?
Co‑production means working together - people with lived experience and professionals sharing:
- Power
- Decision‑making
- Responsibility
It’s not about doing things to people or for people but doing things with people.
Your experience matters. Your insight is expertise. And together, we can design better services and systems of support for everyone.
? Why your voice matters
Domestic abuse and sexual violence affect thousands of people locally each year.
But we know only 1 in 5 incidents are ever reported. By sharing your experience, you help us understand:
- What works well
- What needs to change
- What support is missing
- What stops people from accessing help
No matter what your experience looked like - positive, negative, complicated, or still ongoing - it can help shape safer, more effective services.
🤝 How you can get involved
You can take part in whatever way feels right for you:
💬 Join a Co‑production Forum
- Held online and in person
- led by people with lived experience
- Safe spaces to share what matters most to you
☕ One‑to‑one conversations
If forums don’t feel right for you, that’s okay. You can speak privately with the Coproduction Facilitator, Claire, in whichever way feels safest:
- Phone
- Messages
- Online chats
- A coffee and conversation in the community
🏘️ Invite us to your community space
The Coproduction Facilitator, Claire, can attend groups or informal spaces to listen to people with lived experience who want to share.
You choose how much or how little you want to be involved—there is no pressure.
