Support for speakers of other languages

There are a number of organisations that offer support to victims who speak different languages and/or have cultural needs around their support
 
Opoka offer an online Freedom Programme for survivors in Polish and a support Helpline 0300 365 1700
 
Muslim Women Network - 0800 999 5786 
 
Cambridgeshire Deaf Association offer support in British Sign Language
 
The Dahlia Project from Peterborough Women's Aid supports survivors from South Asian communities 

Jewish Women’s Aid support Jewish women and girls aged 16 and over 

LAWA support Latin American and other Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) women (including trans women) that have experienced gender-based violence, domestic abuse, forced prostitution or trafficking. They have information available in Spanish and Portuguese.

 

Peterborough Women's Aid Lithuanian project supports survivors from Lithuania

 

The Sharan Project supports women from South Asian backgrounds with advice and advocacy to help manage key areas such as health, housing, education, employment, legal, finance and personal development such as how to write a CV, interview skills, help completing benefit forms, access to counselling & advocacy, and much more.
